Editorial Policy

Our readers use our guides to make decisions about money that matters to their families. We take that responsibility seriously. This policy explains how we work.

1. Official sources first

Every scheme fact on this website (monthly amount, age limits, income limits, documents, dates, helpline numbers and portal addresses) must come from an official Government of West Bengal source, such as a government order, notification, official portal page or official press release.

We do not treat other websites, YouTube videos or social media posts as sources of facts, even if many of them repeat the same claim.

2. “To be confirmed” until verified

All scheme facts are stored in a single fact sheet on our website. Each fact has a source and a “verified” flag. If a fact is not yet verified from an official source, our pages show “To be confirmed, check the official notice” instead of guessing a value. This is why you may see that label in several places.

3. Plain and helpful language

We write in simple English, Bengali and Hindi, using short sentences and step-by-step lists. We explain official terms (like DBT or Aadhaar seeding) the first time we use them.

4. No doorway pages, no clickbait

We write one complete page per topic instead of many thin pages, and we do not use misleading headlines such as “money credited today” unless officially confirmed.

5. Independence

We are not affiliated with any government body or political party. We do not accept payment to publish or change content. Advertising, if shown, is kept separate from guide content and never influences what we write.

6. Updates and dates

Every guide shows a “last updated” date. We review payment dates monthly and other pages whenever the government publishes new information.

7. Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and note significant corrections. See our corrections policy.

8. Safety

We never ask readers for personal information, and we actively warn readers about scams and fake websites.
