Annapurna Bhandar Payment Date 2026: Month-wise Table

Annapurna Bhandar money is paid monthly by DBT into each beneficiary's bank account. The table below lists the payment date for each month exactly as announced by the government; dates not yet confirmed are marked "to be confirmed". We update this single page every month.

“When will the Annapurna Bhandar money come?” is one of the most common questions in Bengal every month. Instead of creating separate pages for every month, we keep one page with all payment dates, updated as soon as the government announces a date.

Annapurna Bhandar payment dates 2026 (month-wise)

MonthPayment date (as announced)
To be confirmed, check the official notice

How to read this table:

  • A date is added only after it is officially announced by the Government of West Bengal.
  • “To be confirmed” means no official date has been verified yet. Please do not trust rumoured dates on social media.
  • Money can take 1 to 3 working days to show in some bank accounts after the release date.

Next payment date

The next payment date will be added to the table above once announced. Bookmark this page or check our blog for official updates only.

Why payment dates differ between people

Even when the government releases money on one date, you may receive it later because:

  • payments are sent in batches, district by district or bank by bank,
  • your bank may take a working day or two to credit it,
  • bank holidays and weekends delay processing, or
  • there is a problem with your account (seeding, KYC, inactive account).

If others in your area have received money and you have not after 3 to 4 working days, check your payment status.

Month-wise notes

August payment

Many people searched for the August payment date. Reported dates differed between websites. Only the date shown in the table above (once confirmed) should be relied upon.

September payment

Same as above: check the table. If you were approved recently, your first payment may come in a later month than others.

1st, 2nd and 3rd payment (kisti)

People often search for the “2nd payment date” or “3rd payment date”. Each instalment is simply the next monthly payment, so the month-wise table above covers all of them. If you missed an instalment, check payment status.

First payment for new beneficiaries

If your application was approved recently, your first payment may arrive in the next payment cycle after approval, not immediately. Whether earlier months are paid as arrears depends on government rules that we have not yet confirmed.

Payment amount

Monthly amount: To be confirmed, check the official notice. If you received a different amount than expected. Ask your BDO or municipality office. Do not trust phone callers asking you to “pay a fee” for the balance.

What to do if money is late

  1. Wait 3 to 4 working days after the announced date.
  2. Check your bank SMS or passbook.
  3. Check payment status on the official portal.
  4. Make sure your application is approved.
  5. Fix any bank issue (Aadhaar seeding / NPCI mapping / KYC).
  6. Contact your local office or the official helpline.

Payment date vs the day money reaches you

TermWhat it means
Release / payment dateThe day the government sends the payment file for that month
Credit dateThe day your bank actually adds the money to your account
Bank SMSSent when your bank credits the money, and may come a day later

So if the release date was a Friday, money may show in some accounts on Monday. This is normal.

Make sure you get payment alerts

  • Keep the mobile number linked to your bank account active; this is where credit SMS arrive.
  • Ask your bank to enable SMS alerts if you do not get messages for deposits.
  • Update your passbook regularly at the branch or passbook kiosk.
  • If you use a UPI app linked to the same account, you can check the balance there.

How we update this page

We check official government announcements every month and update the table and the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If you spot an error, please tell us through our corrections page.
