Annapurna Bhandar Status Check Helper

Choose your situation, tick off what you need, open the official portal safely, then type or pick the status you see. The helper explains what it means, what to do next, sets a reminder to check again and, if money has not arrived, finds the likely bank problem. We never ask for your numbers and nothing is saved.

Independent guide, not a government website. Apply only on the official portal.

  1. Check if you are eligible with our free eligibility checker.
  2. Get your documents ready with the document checklist.
  3. Apply only through the official portal or a government camp / office.
  4. Keep the acknowledgement slip safe: you need it to check status later.

  • The address must end in .gov.in. Sites ending in .com, .in, .org.in or .co.in (including this one) are not the government.
  • Checking status is free. Nobody needs money to "approve" or "speed up" your form.
  • Type your OTP only on the portal itself. Never tell it to anyone on the phone or WhatsApp.

Official link to be confirmed. Until it is verified, use only the portal address printed in the official notice, or ask your BDO / municipality office.

4 What does your status say?

Or pick the closest one:

Pending / Under process

Your form has been received and is waiting in the queue. Nothing is wrong.

What to do next

  • Do not apply again: duplicate forms are a common reason for rejection.
  • Check again in about two weeks (use the reminder button below).
  • Keep your acknowledgement slip safe.

Under verification

Officials are checking your details and documents. Sometimes someone visits your home.

What to do next

  • Keep your phone switched on and your documents ready.
  • Answer quickly if an official calls or visits.
  • Check again in about one to two weeks.

Sent back / Correction needed

Something in your form needs fixing before it can move forward, often a name, bank or document mismatch.

What to do next

  • Read the remark on the portal carefully and note it down.
  • Fix the detail (for example, the name must match Aadhaar and the bank account).
  • Submit the correction on the portal or at your BDO / municipality office.

See which documents are needed →

Approved / Sanctioned

You have been accepted as a beneficiary. Payments go straight to your bank account (DBT).

What to do next

  • Make sure your bank account is active and seeded with Aadhaar for DBT.
  • See the payment date page for when money is expected.
  • Money not received yet? Use the payment check below.

Payment success / Paid

The government has sent the money to your bank account.

What to do next

  • Check your bank SMS or passbook for a DBT credit.
  • If the portal says paid but your bank shows nothing, wait two to three working days, then ask your bank about the DBT credit.
  • Keep a screenshot of the portal entry.

  • Ask them to seed Aadhaar, enable DBT / NPCI mapping and complete KYC.
  • Then inform your BDO / municipality office so the payment can be sent again.

  • If still not found, ask at the office or camp where you applied.

Why a helper and not a direct status check?

Annapurna Bhandar status is stored on the Government of West Bengal's systems. There is no public service that lets other websites read it, and asking you to type your Aadhaar, mobile or application number on an unofficial site would put your data at risk. So this helper does the next best thing: it prepares you, sends you to the official portal, and explains the result in simple words.

For the full explanation of every method and status, read our Annapurna Bhandar status check guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tool show my Annapurna Bhandar status?
No. No private website can see your application status. Only the official West Bengal portal shows it. This helper tells you exactly how to check it there and what each status means.
Why does the helper not ask for my application ID or mobile number?
Because we never collect personal details. You type your ID or mobile number only on the official .gov.in portal.
What should I do if my status says rejected?
Note the reason, fix the problem (bank account, documents or details) and contact your BDO or municipality office before applying again.
Is this helper free?
Yes. It is free and runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent.
My status says approved or paid but no money came. What should I check?
Use the 3-question payment check in step 4. Most failed payments come from an inactive bank account, an account not seeded with Aadhaar for DBT, or pending KYC. Your bank can fix all three.
