Annapurna Bhandar Helpline Number and Complaint Options
We publish only helpline numbers and emails printed on official Government of West Bengal pages. Different websites show different Annapurna Bhandar numbers, so until a number is verified it is marked "to be confirmed". You can always get help in person at your BDO office (rural) or municipality / ward office (urban).
Independent guide, not a government website. Apply only on the official portal.

Why “to be confirmed”? Different websites show different numbers for this scheme, and some numbers belong to older schemes. Calling a wrong or fake number can waste your time or put your data at risk. We will list a number only after finding it on an official government page or notice.
Get help in person (most reliable)
| Where you live | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Village / rural area | Block Development Office (BDO) |
| Town / city | Municipality office or ward office |
| Kolkata | KMC ward office / borough office |
| During camps | Help desk at the government camp in your area |
Take these with you:
- Application ID or acknowledgement slip

Before you call: check these first
Many problems can be solved without a helpline:
- Status not updating? See status check guide.
- Money not received? See payment status and DBT problems.
- Not sure of payment date? See payment date.
- Login or OTP problem? See portal login guide.
What to say when you call or visit
Keep your call short and clear. You can say:
“My name is ____ (as in Aadhaar). My Annapurna Bhandar application ID is ____. My registered mobile number is ____. The problem is ____ (for example: status pending for 3 months / approved but no payment since ____ / payment failed).”
Write down the date, time, name of the person you spoke to and any complaint or reference number they give you. If you are asked to visit an office or bank, ask exactly which documents to bring.
Which problem goes where
| Problem | Best place to get it solved |
|---|---|
| Application status pending for a long time | BDO / municipality office (with application ID) |
| Application rejected | BDO / municipality office; ask for the reason in writing |
| Approved but payment failed | Your bank branch first (Aadhaar seeding, KYC), then BDO / municipality |
| Wrong name, age or bank details in application | BDO / municipality office with correct documents |
| Login / OTP not working on the portal | Try again later; then the official helpline once verified |
| Someone cheated you or asked for money | Cyber crime helpline 1930 and your bank; also inform the local office |
How to write a complaint
If you give a written complaint at your office, include:
- Your full name (as in Aadhaar)
- Application ID
- Registered mobile number
- Bank name and last 4 digits of account number (never your PIN or OTP)
- A short description of the problem and since when
- Date and signature
Keep a photocopy and ask for a receipt.
Follow up on your complaint
- Wait at least 7 to 10 working days after a written complaint before following up.
- Take your complaint receipt with you when you follow up.
- Check your status and payment status online in the meantime. The problem may already be fixed.
- If nothing changes, ask to speak to a senior officer at the same office, politely, with your receipt.
Beware of fake helplines
- Search results and social media can show fake “customer care” numbers.
- No genuine official will ask for your OTP, ATM PIN, UPI PIN or password.
- No one can “release” your payment for a fee.
- Do not install screen-sharing apps on a caller’s instructions.
If you have been cheated, call the national cyber crime helpline 1930 or report at cybercrime.gov.in, and inform your bank immediately.
